YouTube Channel Analyzer

Paste any channel and get a real audit: median views, upload cadence, the videos that beat the channel's own median, engagement and title patterns. Every number comes with a reading of what it means.

The only benchmark that matters is your own median

Most channel audit tools score you against YouTube-wide averages, which is the analytical equivalent of comparing your salary to the global mean. A cooking channel and a coding channel have almost nothing in common in view counts, like rates or upload frequency, and a grade calculated across both tells you nothing you can act on. Your own median is the comparison with teeth: it already controls for your niche, your audience, your format and your production standard, so anything that beats it beat it for a reason you can copy.

The second thing these tools get wrong is treating a wide spread between best and typical as good news. It is a diagnosis, not a score. A channel where every video lands within 20% of the median is capped by its format, and no amount of extra uploads will change that, because nothing being published is different enough to break out. A channel with an 8x spread has the opposite problem: the audience is provably there, but the packaging only occasionally reaches it. Those two channels need opposite advice, and a single 0-to-100 grade hands them the same advice.

What no external tool can see is retention, click-through rate, traffic sources or the shape of the audience, and any page claiming otherwise about a channel it does not own is modelling, not measuring. That is a real limit, and it is also less binding than it sounds — cadence, spread, trend and packaging are visible from the outside, and on the overwhelming majority of channels one of those four is the constraint. Fix the visible one before you go looking for a subtle one.

Frequently asked questions

What this audit reads, and what it deliberately will not guess

Two public surfaces YouTube serves to anyone: the channel's about tab, which carries subscriber count, lifetime views, video count and country, and the channel's RSS feed, which carries the fifteen most recent uploads with per-video view and like counts. There is no API key involved and no estimate anywhere in the report. If a figure is not published, the tool says so rather than modelling it.

Auditing the Channel is just the tip of the iceberg

Faceless is what fixes the finding almost every audit lands on. Describe a niche and it generates, voices, edits and uploads videos to your channel on a schedule, so cadence stops being the thing holding the numbers down.
