1. Copy the link. On a computer, open the pin and copy the address from the browser bar. In the app, tap Share, then Copy link; that gives a short pin.it link, so open it in your phone's browser first and copy the pinterest.com/pin/... address it lands on.
2. Paste and download. Paste it into the box above and click Download video. The video and its sound come back as one MP4, usually in a few seconds.
3. Find the file. It saves to Files on iPhone, Downloads on Android, or your computer's download folder. On iPhone, tap Share, then Save Video, to put it in Photos.

The pin has to be public and has to hold its own video. A pin that plays a YouTube video inside Pinterest is really a YouTube video: save it from YouTube instead.

Recipes, workouts, hair and craft tutorials: videos you want to follow along with later, in the kitchen or the gym, without the app reloading the feed or the pin disappearing from a board.

Creators use it to collect references for a mood board or a format they want to make, then study the pacing and framing in an editor. The look is worth borrowing; the video itself belongs to whoever made it.
