Will the video play on my iPhone?

Can I download private videos, group videos or Stories?

No. Videos shared with friends only, posts in private groups and Stories can only be seen while logged in, and the downloader never logs in. If the video plays in a logged-out browser window, it will download here. A removed or private video answers with an error saying it is unavailable.

Where does the video go on iPhone and Android?

On iPhone, Safari saves the MP4 to the Files app, in Downloads. To move it into Photos, open it in Files, tap Share, then Save Video. On Android, Chrome puts it in your Downloads folder, where your gallery app finds it. On a computer it lands in your normal download folder.

Copy the link. In the Facebook app, tap Share under the video or Reel and choose Copy link. On a computer, open the video and copy the address from the browser bar, or right-click the video and copy its link.
Paste and download. Paste it into the box above and click Download video. A Reel is usually ready in about 10 seconds; a video several minutes long can take up to a minute.
Find the file. It saves to Files on iPhone, Downloads on Android, or your computer's download folder. On iPhone, tap Share, then Save Video, to put it in Photos.
