Faceless Niche Finder

Thirty faceless niches, ranked against your interests, your time and real RPM ranges, then checked against what is actually being published on YouTube this month. Every one comes with its downside.

What you want to make

0/200

Optional, but it changes the ranking. Leave it empty and you get the purely commercial order instead.

How much do you want it to pay?
How much time can you sustain?
Evergreen or trend-driven?

Every niche here works with no face on camera and nothing filmed. That is the constraint, not a filter — what changes between them is how much work each episode costs.

Competition is checked live against videos published in the last month. Takes a few seconds.

Your ranked shortlist appears here

Six niches, each with its real ad rate, a live competition read, and the reason it might not work for you.

Low competition is usually a warning, not an opening

Every niche listicle ends up recommending the same thing: find an underserved subject and own it. The advice is not wrong so much as incomplete, because it never distinguishes the two reasons a niche is empty. Sometimes nobody has thought to make the videos. Far more often nobody wants to watch them, and the emptiness you are reading as opportunity is a demand signal that has already been priced in by everyone who tried it before you. This tool separates the two by looking at the ceiling: if the best video published in a niche in the last month did four hundred views, that is not a gap in the market.

The second thing the listicles get wrong is treating RPM as the ranking. It is genuinely true that finance pays six times what gaming does, and it is genuinely irrelevant if you cannot produce a defensible finance video every week for a year. Ad rate is a multiplier on output, and output is the constraint that actually binds for almost everybody. A niche where the topic list writes itself and you publish forty times beats one at four times the rate where you publish nine times and stop, which is why the time budget in this tool moves the ranking as hard as the earnings target does.

What the numbers cannot tell you is the part that decides it. A faceless channel is still a channel with a point of view, and the ones that work are made by someone who was already reading about the subject before there was a channel. Use the shortlist to rule out the niches that are structurally bad bets, then pick from what is left on the basis that you will still find it interesting in episode sixty. Every downside listed here is survivable. Boredom is not.

Frequently asked questions

Choosing a faceless niche without guessing

By ad rate alone it is personal finance, at roughly $12 to $30 RPM, followed by business and property. But RPM is only half of it: those niches also carry the strictest advertiser review and the most established competition, so a channel earning $4 RPM in a niche you can actually publish in weekly will out-earn a finance channel you abandon after nine videos.

Picking the Niche is just the tip of the iceberg

Faceless does the rest: describe the channel and it writes, voices, edits and uploads the videos on a schedule, so the only thing you have to sustain is the idea.
