Faceless + Google Drive

Connect Faceless with Google Drive to export rendered videos. No glue code, no Zapier middleware, no maintenance. Once you authenticate Google Drive once, every video you generate in Faceless flows through automatically based on the rules you set. Below: setup in three steps, what you can build with it, and answers to the questions teams usually ask first.

How to connect Google Drive

  1. 1

Authorize Google Drive with the drive.file scope only

Faceless requests drive.file, which restricts our access to files we created. We can't read your existing Drive content, search your folders, or modify files we didn't make. The scope is intentionally minimal.

  2. 2

Pick a destination folder for rendered videos

Default destination: /Faceless Renders. You can override per project, useful for client folders or deliverable-tracking folders. Each render lands as MP4 plus a sidecar JSON with metadata (title, description, tags, render-time, source URL).

  3. 3

    Toggle auto-export per project

Enable auto-export in project settings. Finished renders land in your Drive folder automatically. For agencies, this becomes the client-deliverable pipeline: render → Drive → client receives notification → review and publish.

  4. 4

Optional: import scripts from Google Docs

Point a Faceless project at a Google Doc URL. We re-render whenever you trigger it manually. Useful for collaborative script editing where the source-of-truth lives in Docs.

What you can do with Google Drive + Faceless

  • 01

    Client deliverable pipeline for agencies

Renders auto-deliver to a shared client folder. No manual upload step; clients get videos in their existing Drive without you exporting and re-sending.

  • 02

    Backup and archive

Every render archived to Drive in addition to Faceless's S3 storage. Useful for regulatory archiving or simply keeping a redundant copy.

Verdict

Bottom line

The Google Drive integration is the fastest way to export rendered videos on autopilot. Setup takes under five minutes. If you're already publishing videos manually, this is the highest-impact change you can make this week.
