The Faceless Channel Course
Chapter 06Content 5 min read

Cadence: the first 30 days

The first month is where channels die, not because the content is bad but because expectations are wrong. Views will be low and random. That is the platform testing and classifying you, not a verdict. The only job in month one is to not break the chain.

01

Pick a cadence you can hold for 90 days

One video per day is the proven cadence for shorts-driven faceless channels: enough data for the algorithm to classify you fast, enough shots at a breakout. But a sustainable 4 per week beats a heroic 2 per day that collapses in week three. Whatever you pick, hold it. Platforms reward accounts that post on a stable rhythm and quietly deprioritize accounts that vanish for weeks.

02

What month one actually looks like

Calibrate expectations so you do not quit at the exact wrong moment:

  • Weeks 1 and 2: most videos get double or triple digit views. Normal. The platform is testing small audiences.
  • Weeks 3 and 4: view counts start spreading: most videos flat, one or two spike. The spikes tell you what works.
  • A breakout video can come on video 5 or video 50. Channels that post daily reach the breakout multiples faster because they take more shots.

Judge the channel at 90 days and 60+ videos. Judging at 2 weeks and 10 videos is measuring noise.

03

Do not delete the flops

Deleting low-view videos does not help the channel and re-uploading them looks like spam behavior. Old videos keep collecting views for months, and a later breakout sends viewers into your back catalog. The flop you deleted was future watch time.

04

Timing matters less than you think

Posting time is worth getting roughly right and not worth obsessing over. Post when your audience's timezone is awake, keep it consistent, and let scheduling handle it. Consistency of cadence moves the needle; the perfect hour does not.

A cadence that never breaks

A Faceless.so series generates and posts a new video on your schedule automatically. The streak the algorithm rewards, without the daily grind.
