Within a category, organize footage by shoot date or shoot collection. For example, “People/2026-07_Creator_Desk_Session” is more informative than “People/New Clips.” Inside that collection, keep separate folders for Camera_Originals, Selects, Proxies, Exports, Stills, and Documents when those materials exist. File names should be descriptive, consistent, and machine friendly.
